Some time ago. I had just arrived in Mumbai. Having heard, that this city never sleeps, I set out to explore. Mumbai was looking beautiful in the night. I fell in love, with its glittering nightlife. I started visiting new places every weekend. But one day, I lost my way in the dead of night it was 3.30am. I saw a person standing in the dark. I approached him and asked the way to get back home. He said it was at the end of the lane. “But don’t you know that it’s forbidden to walk down this lane?” he added. I replied that I was new to the city. “But why is it forbidden to pass through this lane?” I asked hesitatingly. “Because there is a ghost in the lane which chops off the fingers of anyone who passes through,” he replied, with a strange grim. “If you don’t mind, I can accompany you.” The lane was completely deserted. I started feeling totally restless. The person started talking about strange things that was happening in the lane. As we were walking, he turned to me and said, “Once a girl was passing through this lane. As she was feeling nervous while walking… she took out her mobile and called her boyfriend. Right then, she felt that someone was following her. She started walking hurriedly. Someone grabbed her shoulder. But there was no one when she turned around. As she turned back to walk…” No…No…No… Really? What are you saying? Yes, even a college student had a similar experience. When he entered the lane, he felt nervous. He played songs on his mobile and started walking. At that moment… a shadow appeared beside him. As he stopped, even the shadow stopped moving. This was something strange. The boy started walking again and the shadow vanished. For once, he turned around and then… No…No…No… No… Oh my god. All this sounds so scary. But who is behind all this?
